1. INFORMAÇÕES GERAIS

876BOX is operated by 876BOX Limited (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services for authentic Jamaican food subscription boxes delivered throughout the UK and EU.

Pricing is displayed on our website at 876box.com and is subject to change. The price applicable to your subscription is confirmed at the time of purchase and shown in your order confirmation email.

2.2 Monte sua própria caixa (BYOB)

Customisation: Available via our token system Subscription Commitment: 3-month minimum commitment required Modification Deadline: Changes must be made at least 5 days before your scheduled shipping date Token Values: 1–3 tokens per item based on product size, value, and rarity

3. PREÇOS E PAGAMENTO

3.1 Preços

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (£). Prices include VAT where applicable. Shipping is included for all UK deliveries. EU shipping rates are displayed at checkout.

3.2 Processamento de Pagamento

Payments are processed securely via Stripe and Revolut Pay. Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards. Subscription billing is automatic and recurring monthly. If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment once more before suspending your subscription. We will notify you by email before any service suspension.

3.3 Subscription Billing

By subscribing, you authorise 876BOX Limited to charge your selected payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel in accordance with these Terms. You will receive an email reminder before each billing cycle.


4. TERMOS DE ASSINATURA

Billing Cycle: Monthly on the date of first purchase Automatic Renewal: Your subscription continues until cancelled Cancellation Deadline: You must cancel at least 5 days before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month Pausing: Available through your customer account portal — pause requests must be made at least 5 days before your next shipment

Minimum Commitment: 3 months from the date of your first shipment Cancellation During Commitment: You may cancel at any time; however, any shipments already processed or dispatched remain payable Modifications: Allowed up to 5 days before your scheduled shipping date

4.3 Política de Cancelamento

You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard or by emailing info@876box.com. Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle provided notice is received at least 5 days before your billing date. If cancellation is requested after this deadline, your cancellation will take effect the following month. No refund is issued for a subscription period already in progress where the box has been dispatched.

5.2 Products Sourced and Shipped from Jamaica

All 876BOX products are sourced and dispatched directly from Jamaica. This forms part of our core offering and ensures the authenticity of every item. As a result, delivery timeframes reflect international transit from Jamaica to the UK and EU.

5.3 Delivery Timeframes

UK: Estimated 7–14 business days (international airmail from Jamaica) EU: Estimated 10–21 business days Processing time: 1–3 business days in Jamaica before dispatch These are estimates and may vary due to customs clearance, postal service delays, or other factors outside our control.

5.4 Customs & Import Duties

All products comply with UK food import regulations. For EU customers, applicable import duties or VAT may be applied at the border and are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

5.5 Delivery Issues

Lost or undelivered packages: Report within 14 days of the estimated delivery date We will investigate with the carrier and, where confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or issue a refund


6. QUALIDADE DO PRODUTO E SUBSTITUIÇÕES

6.1 Origem do produto

All products are sourced directly from Jamaica, ensuring authentic Jamaican brands and flavours. Products are selected to be suitable for international transit and are non-perishable grocery items.

6.2 Shelf Life

Due to the nature of direct international sourcing, we cannot guarantee a specific remaining shelf life on individual items upon arrival. All products are within their manufacturer’s stated date when dispatched. If you receive an item that is past its best-before date at time of delivery, please contact us within 48 hours with supporting photos and we will arrange a remedy.

6.3 Product Substitutions

Monthly Surprise Box: Contents may vary due to availability — this is part of the surprise experience BYOB: Substitutions will only be made with your prior approval All substitutions will be of equal or greater value

6.4 Allergen Information

Ingredient and allergen information is available on request before purchase. Customers are responsible for reviewing all product labels upon receipt. Products may have been handled in facilities that also process common allergens including nuts, gluten, and dairy.


7. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CONSUMER RIGHTS

7.1 Food Products — No Returns

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to perishable food items or goods that, by their nature, may deteriorate or expire. As all 876BOX products are non-perishable food items, we are unable to accept physical returns once a box has been dispatched.

7.2 Damaged or Defective Items

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must:

Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery Contact us at info@876box.com with your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damage or defect

Upon verification, we will offer one of the following remedies at our discretion or, where possible, at your preference:

A refund for the affected item(s) only, calculated as the proportional value of that item within the total box price (total box price divided equally across all items) A replacement item included in your next scheduled shipment A discount code credited to your account for use on a future order

We do not require the return of food items for health and safety reasons.

7.3 Wrong Items

If you receive an item you did not order (BYOB customers), contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or credit for the correct item.

7.4 Unshipped Orders

If you cancel a one-off order before it has been dispatched, you are entitled to a full refund. Once dispatched, the no-return policy for food items applies as above.

7.5 Subscription Refunds

No refund is issued for the current subscription month once a box has been dispatched. If a box has not yet been dispatched and you cancel within the deadline, you will not be charged for that period.

7.6 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.


8. CONTAS DE CLIENTES

8.1 Registration

A valid email address and accurate billing and shipping information are required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.

8.2 Gerenciamento de contas

Through your account portal you can update your delivery address, payment method, and (for BYOB customers) your next box selections, subject to the 5-day modification deadline.

8.3 Encerramento da conta

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in the event of Terms violations, suspected fraud, or abusive behaviour. Any outstanding balance must be settled before termination is processed.


9. PROPRIEDADE INTELECTUAL

All website content, logos, designs, and branding are the property of 876BOX Limited. No reproduction is permitted without prior written consent. Product brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective manufacturers.

Customer-submitted reviews and photos may be used by 876BOX for marketing purposes. Customers retain ownership of submitted content but grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it. We reserve the right to remove any inappropriate content.


10. PRIVACIDADE E PROTEÇÃO DE DADOS

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available separately at 876box.com. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Payment information is processed securely by Stripe and Revolut and is never stored on our servers.


11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our services are available in the UK and EU only. Our liability is limited to the value of your order in any given transaction. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, postal services, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.


12. RESOLUÇÃO DE DISPUTAS

Please contact us first at info@876box.com for any issue — we aim to respond within 48 business hours. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may refer your dispute to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


13. ALTERAÇÕES NOS TERMOS

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email and on our website. Minor updates will be posted immediately. Continued use of our services after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
